Never one to chase Tropical House trends, Collie Buddz's latest release is a raw rub-a-dub selection that stays true to the authentic dancehall sounds heard throughout his catalog." -- Mass Appeal
"While he unravels his journey, he nestles into cadences that accentuate his breezy groove."-- The FADER
Today, international reggae star Collie Buddz releases Good Life, his first full-length LP in 10 years. Good Life, premiered by The FADER and available exclusively on Apple Music and iTunes, hits all other digital platforms on May 26th.
The highly anticipated release from the Bermuda native showcases his vocal range and signature melodies over a wide array of island rhythms, serving as the follow-up to his 2007 critically acclaimed debut album "Collie Buddz," which remains in the Top 10 on the iTunes Reggae charts to this day. Most of the album is produced by Supa Dups who is responsible for some of Buddz's classic material ("Blind To You Haters," "Tomorrows Another Day,""Sensimilla") along with several recent mega hits for Drake, ("Controlla)"and Rihanna ("Too Good"). Feature-wise, Buddz reaches across the spectrum with soulful Kat Dhalia, hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg, Bay Area staple P-Lo and Canadian-Jamaican songwriter Kreesha Turner.
Buddz says, "Good Life as an album is a reflection of my life the last 10 years. Ultimately it is about perspective, perseverance and working towards a solution. When I first started making music, never did I think it would take me as far as it has, literally around the world. This album is dedicated to my loyal fans, family, friends & everyone that has been supporting my movement for over a decade." As his first independent release, Buddz oversaw all aspects of the recording process and as a result, the album demonstrates him more comfortable and confident than ever as he explores new sonic ground.

Vanilla Fudge was one of the first American groups to infuse psychedelia into a heavy rock sound to create “psychedelic symphonic rock" an eclectic genre which would, among its many offshoots, eventually morph into heavy metal. Although, at first, the band did not record original material, they were best known for their dramatic heavy, slowed-down arrangements of contemporary pop songs which they developed into works of epic proportion. Originally, Vanilla Fudge was a blue-eyed soul cover band called The Pigeons, formed in New Jersey in 1965 with organist, Mark Stein, bassist, Tim Bogert and drummer, Joey Brennan, and guitarist, vocalist and US Navy veteran, Vince Martell. They built a following by gigging extensively up and down the East Coast, and earned extra money by providing freelance in-concert backing for hit-record girl groups. In early 1966, the group recorded a set of eight demos that were released several years later as “While the World Was Eating Vanilla Fudge." The East Coast, in particular, New York, and New Jersey, created a sound all its own. Inspired by groups such as The Rascals and The Vagrants( fronted by guitarist, Leslie West of “Mountain" fame), The Pigeons reworked many of their own existing arrangements of covers to reflect their unique interpretation of this “East Coast Sound." In late 1966, drummer, Joey Brennan, moved out to the West Coast; the Pigeons immediately drafted drummer and vocalist, Carmine Appice, a disciple of the renowned Joe Morello (Dave Brubeck Band) and a seasoned veteran of the club scene. In early 1967, The Pigeons manager, Phil Basile, convinced producer, George "Shadow" Morton (producer for The Shangri-Las and Janis Ian), to catch their live act. Impressed by their heavy-rocking, trippy and psychedelic version of The Supremes' "You Keep Me Hangin' On," Morton offered to record the song as a single. This resulted in a deal with the Atlantic subsidiary Atco, which requested a name change. The band settled on Vanilla Fudge; they were a white group singing and playing with the soul of the brothers. The band toured extensively behind its covers-heavy, jam-oriented debut album, Vanilla Fudge, to expand their fan base. Vanilla Fudge, the album, was released on June 2, 1967 the day after The Beatles' released their Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. The Vanilla Fudge first album rose up the charts to # 4 without the aid of a big hit single.

Music defines Chase Bryant. At every level and in often unexpected ways, his truths are expressed in melody, lyrics, hooks and sounds … but his reality goes even deeper than that. Bryant’s heritage is defined by music. His upbringing, his craft, his inspiration and his obsessions are all centered in the same – which is good – because there’s no other way to explain how a 23-year-old Texan could already be a top-flight guitar player, head-turning songwriter, RED BOW recording artist and co-producer of his debut album.

Bryant focuses his muse on the commonalities people share. “We all have a destination,” he says. “We all have dreams we want to follow. I’m no different than anybody else, I just sing about it. It’s my job to put the party on and give people a good reason to have fun.” And that he does, whether it’s in the soaring groove of “Little Bit of You,” the sparkling “Fire,” unabashed romanticism of “Change Your Name” or the vocally-charged, guitar-shredding Top 10 debut single “Take It On Back.”

Raised in Orange Grove, TX (pop. 1,200), Bryant’s grandfather played piano in Roy Orbison’s first two bands and, later, for Waylon Jennings. His uncles co-founded the group Ricochet, which had several hits in the ’90s. “From the time I was a kid, the only thing I wanted to do was play music,” he says.
