BLK Live, 7301 E. Butherus Drive, Scottsdale, AZ
Fri May 4, 2018

Lit has been actively touring, writing, and recording. They’ve immersed themselves in Nashville’s country music world with frequent writing trips, continuing to further their friendships with some of the biggest names in Country and Rock. The new sound of Lit shows a natural progression into a genre they’ve always been connected to. It’s one of the many examples of artists taking risks, as the lines that used to define them get blurrier by the day.

THE LATEST:
Lit just wrapped a 30+ city North American Summer Tour, a chunk of which is part of Summerland Tour with Sugar Ray, Everclear, and Sponge. The tours showcased a new and buzz-worthy sonic direction for Lit into the Country realm. As Nashville SONY/ATV writers, Jeremy Popoff and his frontman brother A. Jay have immersed themselves in the Country music world with constant songwriting trips, continuing to further their friendships – both on and off the stage – with some of the biggest names in Country music. Lit recently joined Dustin Lynch at Stagecoach Festival to deliver “My Own Worst Enemy” to over 50,000 of Country’s most dedicated fans. The new sound of Lit shows a natural progression into a genre they’ve long been connected to. Their brand new music video for the song “Fast” will be debuted by CMT on Oct 26th.

Plain White T's (read as "plain white tees") is an American rock band from Lombard, Illinois, formed in 1997 by high school friends Tom Higgenson, Dave Tirio, and Ken Fletcher. They were joined a short time later by Steve Mast. The group had a mostly underground following in Chicago basements, clubs and bars in its early years.[6]

The band is best known in the USA for the number-one hit song "Hey There Delilah", which achieved platinum status in 2007 and earned two Grammy nominations,[8] as well as "1234" and "Rhythm of Love", which were certified platinum in 2009 and 2011.

The legendary Wailers band returns to bring its revolutionary sound to fans around the world. Steered by famed bassist and founder Aston “Familyman” Barrett, and joined in solidarity with original Wailers’ guitarists Junior Marvin and Donald Kinsey, The Wailers continue to make musical history.

From 1973 to 1980, Bob Marley & The Wailers recorded, toured, and performed before countless millions worldwide. Since 1981, Familyman and Junior have carried on the mission to “keep The Wailers together,” just as Bob requested, affirming: “By doing that, you keep me alive through the music.”

In tribute to the late co-founder and drummer Carlton “Carly” Barrett, The Wailers present Aston Barrett, Jr. on drums. It’s startling how the young powerhouse delivers with his uncle’s inspiring landmark style. Lead singer Joshua David Barrett is a Rastaman by lifestyle and culture. Josh delivers Bob’s powerful message of Jah love and unity through his performance and interaction with the audience.

Also on stage are singers Shema McGregor, daughter of I Three Judy Mowatt, and Hassanah, a multi-cultural powerhouse; veterans Owen “Dreadie” Reid on guitar/bass and Noel Davey on keyboards. The performance anchor is live engineer Dennis Thompson, the man responsible for The Wailers sound in stadiums, clubs, and studios throughout the ‘70s.

There are more than 250 million Bob Marley & The Wailers recordings sold, including 1977’s Exodus, anointed Best Album of the Century in 1999 by Time Magazine, and “One Love,” named Song of the Millennium that same year by BBC. Spin Magazine listed Bob Marley & The Wailers at #4 of the “50 Greatest Bands of All Times,” while The New York Times named Bob Marley the most significant musician of the 20th century. These accolades were made possible by the creative, timeless, and distinctive music, lyrics and production by these incomparable Wailers musicians.

ORIGINAL DIO MEMBERS REUNITE ALONG WITH VOCALIST ANDREW FREEMAN (formerly of The Offspring, Hurricaine, Lynch Mob)

Current Line Up: Vinny Appice (drums) - Vivian Campbell (guitar) - Andrew Freeman (vocals) - Phil Soussan (bass) - Eric Norlander (keyboards)

Last In Line, the band, takes its name from the second Dio album released in 1984. Vinny Appice, Jimmy Bain and Vivian Campbell were Ronnie Dio’s co-conspirators and co-writers on the "Holy Diver", "Last In Line" and "Sacred Heart" albums – these records have gone on to become part of rock history.

During a spontaneous jam session it was apparent that the chemistry of the original band was very much intact, even after a 27-year hiatus. Over the ensuing years a handful of local LA shows led to a handful of overseas shows in the U.K. and Japan, and eventually to an offer from Frontiers to record a new album of original material. During the course of 2014 the band wrote and recorded 12 new songs and chose longtime friend Jeff Pilson as producer capturing the organic crunch of the band and the very best in Andrew’s voice and delivery.

The release, however, was preceded by tragedy, when Jimmy Bain passed away at the age of 68 on January 23, 2016; another great musician taken from us far too soon. Jimmy was immensely proud of the new album and his input on "Heavy Crown" was immeasurable. Last In Line’s debut album, “Heavy Crown” was released on February 2016, hitting number #1 on the Billboard Heat-Seekers Chart, with the singles “Devil In Me” and “Starmaker” leading the charge.

Last in Line’s extensive tour schedule in 2016 including headlining both the Frontiers Rock Festival in Milan, Italy and the Metal Stage at the Rocklahoma Festival, bringing in renowned bassist Phil Soussan and keyboardist Erik Norlander on board, a full European tour in November 2016 appearing as special guests to Saxon on selected European dates and headlining a raft of venues across the UK and also releasing "Heavy Crown" on gatefold vinyl.
